ABOUT CAVERSHAM UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB
Caversham United Football Club are an amateur men’s football team based in Reading, Berkshire. We are a member of the Reading and District Sunday League, overseen by the Berks & Bucks Football Association. We will be competing in Division One of the Reading and District Sunday League during the 2020-2021 season.
Caversham United Football Club was founded under current ownership in June 2015, having been most recently known as AFC Palmer. Previous enitities of the club include RBC Unison, FC Brettle and Miah's.
Following a Twitter Campaign in November 2018 the club adopted a new nickname of The Billy Goats, decided by the Twitter public.
The club currently consists of one adult men’s team, with the possibility of adding additional teams under further consideration for the 2021-22 season.

Balls to Cancer are a charity (Registered charity number 1146185) focused on cancer awareness, particularly in men, as well as the support of current and former cancer sufferers and their families.
Following the success of the #CavershamCup, our kit launch and #SundayLeagueDay, we have now raised over £2,700 for Balls To Cancer.
