We've teamed up with one of our favourite footballing design powerhouses, Kit & Bone, to create an exclusive training top that perfectly represents who we are and what we are all about.

Inspired by the stretch of the River Thames that separates Caversham and Reading, Kit & Bone helped to bring our idea to life with a striking centre-front chest graphic with the aerial flow of the river striking through the GOATS text. We really wanted to pay homage to where we are from and given that the river is a big part of our badge and history it was a no brainer to include it in the final design. Kit & Bone added some of of their signature special touches on the sleeves and back neck to finish off the shirt and we could not be happier with the final outcome - hopefully you will be also!

The top is available to buy over on the Kit & Bone website right now - what are you waiting for?!

Following a recent update from the Reading and District Sunday League, Caversham United have been promoted to Division 1 for the 2020-21 season.
Just two seasons ago, at the start of 2018-19, Caversham United were in Division 4 having finished bottom of that league the season before. Two years later, we challenge amongst a strong looking Division 1.
This season’s opponents include bogey team Rose and Thistle; Mortimer; a very strong AFC Lowfield Green; a long trip to Brimpton Rangers and an inaugural Caversham derby against AFC Caversham.
AFC Caversham are a huge organisation in comparison, with teams across every level from junior to adult, male and female. We hope that one will prove to be a huge fixture in the local calendar.
The anticipated start date of the season remains September 2020.

Due to COVID-19, the 2019-20 season ended prematurely. Following the announcement of the suspension of grassroots football, Reading and District Sunday League have since confirmed that the 2019-20 season will be deemed null and void with all records expunged.

Whilst officially the results will be deleted from the record, the Goats’ season concluded with 9 league games played resulting in 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats.
Considering our first 3 games, up 2 divisions higher than the prior season, ended in 2 defeats and a draw, the final outcome is positive. After our traditionally slow start to the season, our record improved to 4 wins, a draw and a defeat in the next 6 league games.
Joe Hales again retained his top goalscorer accolade at the club, whilst Iain Graham was votes Players Player of the Year and fan favourite Tom ‘Tommie Tank‘ Hig retained Supporters Player of the Year.
